Jessica Simpson gets a head start on ruining another Cowboys' season

Forget about the break-up rumors. Apparently Jessica Simpson has her sights set on invading the Cowboys' pre-season training camp in Oxnard, CA. Her father, Joe Simpson, was spotted at an afternoon workout this past Sunday. Jessica wasn't with him, but he said that she would be there "soon." He also remarked, "She's coming to the games this year, so you better get ready. She's a fan from the beginning to the end."

TRADE DEADLINE

Today folks was the Trade Deadline in major league baseball. We saw some shocking trades take place and the most shocking trade to me was that Manny Ramirez is now a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Manny who over the last month or so, was acting up and trying to cause trouble within the Redsox organization finally got what he wanted and that was to be traded. As much as Manny has been a cry baby and always wanted his way, he was a key bat in the Redsox lineup. Manny brought power, speed and energy to the game and he is going to be missed in a REDSOX uniform. The Redsox now welcome in Jason Bay who has come over to Boston from the Pirates. He will add power to the lineup, but he is not Manny Ramirez. REDSOX FANS get ready because the loss of Manny brings alot of challenges along the way for the rest of the season. Lets just hope the Sox have what it takes to win the division and the Yanks will be the Wildcard.

The Yankee's today did what the Yankee's do best. They went out, spent money and provided some more talent to a team that right now has eight all-stars and a 210 million dollar payroll. With the addition of Nady, Marte and Ivan Rodriquez the Yankees have made themselves a power house yet again. When is Brian Cashmen and the Yankee Organization going to realize that they have not been to a world series in SEVEN YEARS. Cashman will do anything to put a winning team on the field but ask yourself this question has it worked! The answer to that is no it has not. But I am afraid to say that the New York Yankees has established themselves as one of the premier teams in the Major League Baseball and for that they are recognized as twenty - six time World Series Champions. After this day the Yankees will make the playoffs.

The Mets did not make any moves at the trade dead line and to Jerry Manual it's no big deal. As we have heard from the Mets media, fans and internet sources we know the Mets are in need of a everyday outfielder and why was nothing done. I thought this afternoon that Minaya was going to pull sometihng out of his hat and bring Manny Ramirez to the Big Apple. This was not the case though. The Mets were also questioned about their bullpen this week and if u were to ask me who they were gonna get i would have told you they have the best five relievers in the league. Who were they going to get FUENTES from the Rockies, I dont think so!!!

Ken Griffey Junior has not been to playoffs his entire career now it is his time to shine as he was welcomed earlier today into the Windy City. The Chicago WhiteSox made a big statement today by picking up Griffey now we have to see if he has what it takes to lead the Whitesox into the postseason.
